Teddy Roosevelt Park

Wednesday August 13th, 2014
Theodore Roosevelt Park
Medora, North Dakota

The kids and I went hiking with my friend, Emily, and her kids. Like us, they are not originally from here, but have been here for several years. Emily is well educated on good hiking areas. We packed a lunch and met there after Macie's ballet. We also brought our new Great Pyreneese pup, Sully, with us. After the hike, we went into Medora and got some ice cream. Before the hike, we saw Perry briefly who was there for training with his new job. (That's all out of order but ya get the drift. (; ) We also checked out the visitor center where it had more information. I saw something he said that resonated with me - went something like, "Living in North Dakota prepared me for presidency" - that's not a word for word, but something like that. All-in-all, it was a fun day with great friends. We thoroughly enjoyed all the bison walking around.
