We started reading the Easter story on (Good) Friday. We finished reading it on Easter Sunday before giving the kids their Easter baskets. We went to church and then came home and had a little egg hunt in our apartment. For lunch/dinner we had grassfed beef roast slow cooked in filter water, onions and seasonings. The boys helped me chop up potatoes, green beans and carrots that we baked in coconut oil and seasonings. We had a relaxing rest of day including plenty of play time and perhaps a nap. ;)

You know how in different seasons of life you see things differently or understand them in a new way? This Easter I am so grateful that yes, my sins are forgiven because of what Christ did, but even more so that HE IS WHO HE SAYS HE IS. His resurrection is proof of that. And that to me, this season of life, means so much to me...He kept His word.
