All About Macie!

Sitting in her baby dolls tub!

Camping!

Yeah, I sleep with my leg around a pillow or Perry. She like her mama!

One morning I caught her reading to herself.

She loves her jewelry!

Doing school work with bubba.

She's a lady!

Princess with daddy.

She's too cool for school!

Rocking her baby!

These pictures range from Macie at just 12 months up until now; 22 months. As you can see, my princess has grown so much! She melts my heart - and not just mine and her daddys, but everyone who has the pleasure of meeting her. She is a little lady and has incredible manners already AND a servant heart! I love how she says, "I love you mommy". I'll ask her, "Whose a princess?" She replies, "Me!" I just want her to know how special she is! I'll sing, "She's a lady" and Macie goes, "Woa woa woa". LOL! She cracks me up! She loves for me to hold her, she absolutely is my mini me and follows me around, always wanting to be nearby. I treasure this time because it won't always be this way and one day I'm gonna miss this - I'm gonna want this back (Trace Adkins, anyone?).

All About Asher!

Asher's first day of pre-k.

Asher man.

Go Asher!

The night Asher won the game ball!

Asher doing his school work (home school).

Being silly with lil' sis!

Asher is turning into a little man. Still kind of stuck between two stages - he is growing more and more into a little dude. He started pre-k this year. It was crazy how he actually got in last minute which is pretty unheard of. He did great in school  - obeyed and respected his teachers, ate all his food, napped, listened to instructions, played nicely, etc. But I didn't agree with how the kids were being treated or how things were being done there; and I believe it was hurting his spirit. Perry and I discussed it and especially since pre-k isn't mandatory, we pulled him out. I've been doing some schooling with him at home. It's nice having him home. Macie enjoys it, she adores "Ashie". Asher also started baseball this fall. Another "big boy" thing. He excelled at it - he is a natural! There were times where he would get bored like any other normal 4 year old waiting in the outfield, but man, when he shined, HE SHINED. Love my Asher man who is always sure to tell me how much he loves me and is still not too big to cuddle with his mommy!

All About Zeke!

Zeke, Asher, and Macie the morning of the parade.

Go Zeke!

Thanksgiving.

A surprise visit from the uncles!

Zeke is growing up so fast. I cannot believe he is two months shy of being 9! WOW! He is doing great in school - it blows my mind how smart he is! He has been busy with Cub Scouts. He is an incredible big brother to his little brother and sister. Zeke is such a helpful kid, and very obedient. He loves his daddy and always wants to hang out with him. He is protective of his siblings. He's really funny! He has really been learning and growing into an incredible young man. I am very proud of him! I know I can always count on Zeke. He loves with all his heart. He's a great kid!!

I'm Baaaccckkkkk!!!!

It has really been too long!

I stopped writing because it got too difficult; see, without having internet access at home, it became a struggle to go somewhere to type everything with three kids running wild. I was actually going to go ahead and print off what I had already written and then just delete this BUT then we got internet! Woohoo! I enjoy writing here...just for the sake of my family, something we can look back on. I am very excited about being able to continue this hobby of mine!

SOO much has happened since I've last written and quite honestly I don't know where to start! Maybe with some bulletin points?

  • Zeke ended up going back to public school. There were some last minute things that happened and honestly, though its hard to admit (and this is only part of the reason), I don't think I could successfully homeschool with three kids right now. But I still don't like public school! I'll have to make a post about this sometime.
  • Don't remember if I mentioned this before or not but Perry is serving weekly in the middle school environment at our church! Pretty awesome stuff!
  • From July-September I was in Starting Point at my church. Starting Point is "A conversational small group environment where you can explore faith and experience community" and "an exploration of the Bible's grand story and where you fit into the narritve. Whether you're new to the Christian faith, simply curious about it, or reexamining what it means to have a relationship with God, you'll appreciate this conversational small group environment". Joining SP was one of the best decisions I've made! And I've walked away with some pretty cool relationships! I'm so thankful to have had that experience!
  • In August I joined a women's small group. Another best decision I've ever made! The group consists of 6 women including myself. These women have been so loving, kind, and supportive. They are heaven sent. I'm so thankful to have met these women and to be doing life with them!
  • Macie is a walking-talking all girlie girl! She is so much fun! And she loves her mommy! I will need to post some pics of the kiddos - they've gotten so big!
  • Asher is really growing up. He is caught in between being a big boy and being momma's baby (my fault). I do tell him constantly how he is my baby and I hug and love on him. I just can't help myself. AND...he went to pre-k for 11 days and we pulled him out. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I'll write more on that later. And he played baseball this fall and did a fantastic job!
  • Zeke is doing well in school. I love his teacher this year - she's probably my favorite. And I accidently became the room mom :-/ really, its not bad, his teacher is so independent and self-sufficient. Zeke is still in Cub Scouts and we went camping with our Pack in October and that was a lot of fun!
  • I will be having surgery soon. Found out some stuff going on with my thyroid...but I'll write more on that later.
  • I really feel like relationships have been blossoming for us! So much reconciling going on, reconnecting, growing, and strengthening friendships! It's a beautiful thing! I just see God everywhere and I am beyond thankful for His perfect timing. More on that later :)

I'm sure once this is officially posted I'll be like, "I FORGOT TO ADD..." But it's all good! I need to write specifically about everything going on because there sure is a lot going on! Man, I am so happy to have the internet at home now! Nap time, bed time, whenever I can't sleep, I can be on here updating and posting - I really enjoy doing this! Be back soooonnnnn =)
